‘Portugal does not own the Portuguese language’
The ambassador Luís Faro Ramos, president of the Camões Institute, claims that Portuguese is growing at a fast rate and is a language of the future, a global player in culture, communication, science and economics. But the effort to promote and teach it cannot come only from Portugal.
