Hungary and Poland are not the only countries that are “testing” EU’s Rule of Law standards
In the first annual report on the Rule of Law, the European Commission pointed out problems in all Member States, but focused on those where the judicial system is under threat from political power. Portugal does not escape criticism, but the situation is not compromising.
